What is Long Term Care?

Long Term Care involves any small task that you or I might do in a given day that we take for granted. These Activities of Daily Life (ADL’s) include getting out of bed, going to the bathroom, bathing, dressing, moving around the house easily, cooking, eating, and cleaning up. When a condition develops that requires help with these activities, like Alzheimer’s, cancer, dementia, or some physical condition, Long Term Care is required. Long Term Care does those things for someone that they are no longer physically or mentally capable of.
